                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1314
                   BAILEY AVENUE, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF
                   BAILEY AVENUE AT GREENWOOD AVENUE FROM R-3
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4 SPECIAL ZONE, SUBJECT
                   TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 1314 Bailey Avenue, being on
              the southwest line of Bailey Avenue at Greenwood Avenue. 
              Lot 7, Speer, Long, and Wilkins Subdivision of Block 4,
              Highland Park, as shown by plat of record in plat book
              3, page 40, R.O.H.C., being the property described in
              deed book 3715, page 262, R.O.H.C. Tax Map No. 146J-C-7.
             
         from R-3 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
         	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning
         shall be subject to the following condition:
         	   1.	That the property to be rezoned be restricted to
                        office use only.
        
         	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance

         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
